Some faces stay with us.
The ones who made an ordinary day feel like home. This is a place to give those faces something lasting.
It should feel
unmistakably them.
A portrait is about more than a likeness. It is the particular expression, the way the ears fall, the smile someone always had when they saw you.
Portraits in Metal brings that idea to brass and stainless steel plaques. Personal words, considered layouts and enough space for the portrait to do the talking.
And because you should never have to guess with something so personal, the sketch comes first. See it. Consider it. Then decide.
Our free-sketch approachThe business behind your plaque.
Portraits in Metal is operated by the same UK sole-trader business as InstaPlaque. We are not VAT registered.
Our focus here is portraits: a recognisable likeness, a complete inscription layout and a plaque preview before you decide to buy. The gallery contains illustrative designs; it does not represent delivered customer orders.
Prefer to design your own inscription plaque? At InstaPlaque you can arrange your wording, choose brass or stainless steel, and check a free online proof before ordering. It is our sister site for bench dedications, garden plaques and formal openings.
