Your free proof

Send your photograph and any wording or preferences. You do not need to know your finish or size yet. We review your request and prepare a portrait sketch, inscription layout, plaque preview and quote. There is no payment or obligation to order at this stage. We confirm the expected proof timing directly with you.

Changes and your price

Ask for changes before approving the design. We agree the scope of any further artwork with you; any change affecting the specification, price or schedule is confirmed before you decide to order.

The displayed price is the price for your selected size, metal finish and backing or display options, including your portrait, inscription and UK delivery. The same options cost the same; portrait and landscape cost the same. Your proof confirms the design and specification before you pay. If you change the options, the price updates accordingly. Anything outside our standard options is priced separately and agreed with you before ordering.

Approval and secure payment

Check the entire proof, including the likeness, layout, spelling, names and dates. Production starts only after approval of that exact design and payment through Stripe on your private proof page. Keep your quote, proof and order confirmation.

Production and delivery

Dispatch is normally within 5–10 working days after design approval and payment. Your quote confirms the timing for your order. Tell us before ordering if a particular arrival date matters. We will confirm whether we can meet it and contact you if the agreed timetable changes. A dispatch estimate is not a guaranteed arrival date unless we expressly agree that date with you.

Changing your mind

You can decide not to order after seeing your free proof. Your plaque is made with your portrait or inscription. The usual change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to clearly personalised goods. Your rights if goods are faulty or not as described are unaffected.

If you need to change or cancel after payment, contact us promptly so we can explain what remains possible for your order.

A problem with your order

Contact us with your order reference and a description of the problem. Photographs can help us assess it, but do not replace your rights. We will explain the appropriate return, repair, replacement or refund process. Approval of a proof does not remove your statutory rights. Please contact us for return arrangements so the plaque reaches the correct place safely.
